1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Country Cottage Stables website and services. By contacting us, making an enquiry, or booking with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

Country Cottage Stables provides:

• Riding lessons
• Trekking experiences
• Equestrian holidays (in partnership with third-party accommodation providers)
• Tailored riding programmes
• Gift vouchers

All holiday and programme bookings are customised based on rider ability, preferences, and availability.

3. Booking Process

• All bookings are made via phone, email, or direct enquiry
• Each booking is tailored to the individual rider(s) based on experience, preferences, and availability

Accommodation options include:

• A partner hotel (e.g. Summerhill House Hotel or similar), or
• A private apartment managed by Country Cottage Stables

Availability is subject to:

• Riding schedules at Country Cottage Stables, and
• Accommodation availability (where applicable)

If your preferred accommodation is unavailable:

• An alternative option may be proposed and agreed before confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once:

• All details are agreed, and
• Any required deposit or payment is received

4. Accommodation

Country Cottage Stables offers two accommodation options as part of its equestrian packages:

a) Third-Party Hotel Accommodation

• Accommodation may be arranged with a partner hotel, such as Summerhill House Hotel
• In the event that the preferred hotel is fully booked, an alternative hotel may be предложed
• All hotel stays are subject to the hotel’s own terms, policies, and availability

Country Cottage Stables is not responsible for:

• The operation or management of third-party accommodation
• Changes, cancellations, or issues arising from the hotel provider

b) Private Apartment Accommodation

• Country Cottage Stables may offer its own private apartment as an accommodation option
• Guests staying in the private apartment will be provided with separate terms and guidelines, including:
  • House rules
  • Check-in/check-out details
  • Responsibility for damages or breakages

Guests are expected to follow all provided guidelines during their stay

5. Payments

• Payment terms will be agreed during booking
• Deposits may be required to secure dates
• Full payment timelines will be confirmed at the time of booking

6. Cancellations & Changes

• Cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking
• Late cancellations may result in loss of deposit or fees
• Changes to bookings are subject to availability
• Lessons and trekking bookings must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start time to be eligible for a full refund; cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable.

If cancellation is due to:

• Weather
• Safety concerns
• Operational reasons

We will offer:

• A reschedule, or
• A refund where appropriate

7. Rider Responsibility & Safety

Horse riding is an inherently risky activity.

By participating, you agree that:

• You ride at your own risk
• You will follow all instructions from staff
• You will provide accurate information about:
  • Riding experience
  • Medical conditions
• You will wear appropriate clothing and footwear

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse participation if safety is a concern
• Match riders with suitable horses based on ability

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Country Cottage Stables is not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence
• Personal belongings are the responsibility of the visitor

Participants may be required to sign a waiver or indemnity form before riding.

9. Gift Vouchers

• Non-refundable
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Must be redeemed in advance via booking

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse or interfere with the website
• Copy or reproduce content without permission

All website content belongs to Country Cottage Stables.

11. Accuracy of Information

We aim to keep all information accurate, but:

• Services and availability may change
• Website content may not always reflect real-time availability

12. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept any updates.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
