Ride along quaint Irish country lanes, across rolling green hills and mountain trails with stunning views of Ireland’s largest waterfall (Powerscourt Waterfall), the Great Sugar Loaf mountain and the Wicklow Way. Explore enchanting forests and feel pure freedom galloping down the long golden sandy stretch of beach at
Brittas Bay. Improve your riding skills with top-class instructors who will help you work on your flat work, dressage, and jumping. Also, experience fun days at cross-country courses and show jumping at Ireland’s premier facilities.

We offer cultural excursions to historic estates and gardens like Powerscourt Estate and Mount Usher, agricultural shows, country fairs, a whiskey tour and tasting, and a traditional Irish Hooley night with music and dancing.

We provide a fantastic opportunity for you to discover the best of Irish gastronomy. Our dining options have been chosen carefully to provide our guests with the best foodies experience, ranging from award-winning restaurants with seasonal and locally sourced food, picnics, a garden barbecue, lunches at Avoca handweavers, and a home-cooked dining experience at CCS plus a traditional Irish evening and much more. The holiday is not just about horses and amazing scenery, it is also the best of Irish food and culture.

Check-in is at 3.30pm on the first day. After you freshen up, we take you to the stables where you meet our team, and you can enjoy a lesson/assessment with your horse.  We offer an assessment on the first day, so you are ready for your first trek the next morning. We also offer a trek on your final morning.

The riding:

  • We take pride in looking after guests in a fun, safe, confidence-giving environment. Our horses are very well-schooled and are happy, level-headed, and sensible souls.
  • We cater for all levels from novice to advanced.
  • We tailor the holiday to your level of experience so, whether you are a novice rider or an experienced rider looking for an action-packed holiday we will cater to your every need.
  • Horses are Irish sport horses, Irish cobs, Irish draughts, and Connemara ponies.
  • Tailored itinerary to suit your riding level and preferred riding experiences.
  • 3- 5 hours in the saddle each day.
  • Top-class English tack, and upon request we can provide a McClellan saddle (a hybrid between an English and a Western saddle. 1 available)
  • Our max weight limit is 98kg

Start day is Sunday. If you need to arrive on an alternative day we can make arrangements.

A shorter itinerary is available so please get in touch.

Rates are per person, based on two riders sharing a twin or double room. €5,500 per person sharing.

Single rate is €6,634

Please get in touch if you need an additional night before the trip starts. We can arrange an extra night at your accommodation or a night in Dublin city. We have a strong relationship with the Merrion Hotel in the heart of Dublin, beside Trinity College (Books of Kells) and Grafton Street. We will pick you up from the accommodation.
